LSU QB Joe Burrow won the Heisman trophy and broke records doing so.
Burrow beat out Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts, Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields and Ohio State defensive lineman Chase Young by getting 99.8 percent of the vote.

During his acceptance speech Burrow got emotional while talking about Coach O.
“Coach O, you have no idea what you mean to my family,” “I didn’t play for three years. You took a chance on me not knowing if I could play or not. I’m forever grateful for you. … I sure hope they give him a lifetime contract.”
