Based on the bulk of the information I’ve come across so far, it would appear Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has not been panning out the way Vladimir Putin had planned, as the troops dispatched by the man in Moscow have been greeted with stiff resistance by citizens who aren’t going to give up their homeland without a fight.
That includes one high-profile boxer who put his career on hold to attend to a slightly more pressing matter, some particularly defiant border guards, and employees at a brewery who’ve stopped bottling beer in favor of making Molotov cocktails (in addition to some older residents who are more than ready to spark up the arsenal of gas-filled projectiles they’ve assembled).
"Let those Russian sh*ts come here. We are ready to greet them!"

A number of younger Ukrainians are also playing an instrumental role in defending the country—including one man who went viral after his picture popped up online last week due to his striking resemblance to Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

It appears QB’s doppelganger is a photographer based in Kyiv, as he posted the same image on Instagram (where it’s also his profile picture) a few days after ascending to viral fame thanks to the many reactions we were treated to courtesy of people who threw their support behind the Ukrainian Burrow.
