You never know what you’re going to get when you tune in to WWE’s Monday Night Raw, as was the case last night when the show took a brief, unplanned turn away from the wrestling action when John Cena put his United States Championship match against Dolph Ziggler on hold so that he could acknowledge a successful marriage proposal that had just occurred in the crowd.
Cena noticed a fan holding up a “SHE SAID YES” sign as the crowd around the newly-engaged couple roared and started chanting “Yes, Yes, Yes!”. Being the nice guy he is, Cena immeadiately grabbed a mic and cordially sent along his best wishes to the lovebirds.
There’s no way this isn’t a story for the grandchildren one day. Admirable move, John Cena.
