After former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel told Jordon Hudson to “sit in the suite” while discussing her presence on UNC’s sideline, Super Bowl winning head coach Jon Gruden has become the latest former NFL pro to question what Bill Belichick is currently doing with his girlfriend.
Over the weekend, Bill Belichick’s University of North Carolina Tar Heels got dominated by the University of Central Florida, losing the game by a score of 34-9 and dropping their record on the season to 2-2.
The Tar Heels’ disappointing start to the season hasn’t been the main headline coming out of Chapel Hill, however, as all of the focus has been on Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, and her seemingly omnipotent presence on the sideline.
The particularly viral clip of Hudson showed her in the ear of Belichick on the sidelines during pregame warm-ups.

“I’ve never seen anything like that. Mike Lombardi works for North Carolina,” Gruden jabbed on Wake Up Barstool. “I’ve heard him criticize me several times. I’m sure he’ll produce a TikTok today explaining exactly what was going on.”

While UNC’s schedule only gets harder from here — including what’s sure to be a pure Misery Bowl against Clemson on October 4 (UNC has a bye this week) — the Tar Heels currently do not have any more ranked opponents on their schedule.
Given the product on the football field and the seemingly endless negative attention generated by Hudson, it’s beginning to seem like Belichick will be one-and-done at UNC unless he can turn things around after the bye week against the equally desperate Clemson Tigers.
