Jon Gruden has finally spoken out in regards to being involved in a wild email scandal.
Two weeks ago, Gruden resigned as the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders after several of his racist, misogynistic, and homophobic emails sent to former WFT exec Bruce Allen were leaked to the media.
Jon Gruden statement: “I have resigned as Head Coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. I love the Raiders and do not want to be a distraction. Thank you to all the players, coaches, staff, and fans of Raider Nation. I’m sorry, I never meant to hurt anyone.”

On Thursday, Gruden broke his silence on the whole saga while speaking to an HBO producer, who had recently done a feature on Raiders owner Mark Davis weeks before the email leak went down.
According to Real Sports,’ Andrea Kramer Gruden told the HBO producer that “the truth will come out” and he will be vindicated in the long run.
“Maggie Burbank, who produced the story that we just did on Mark Davis, she actually called Gruden and he picked up the phone, much to I think her surprise,” Kremer said. “And he’s still in Las Vegas. . . . He says he’s letting the dust settle. He said, ‘People who know me know what I stand for 58 years. I have a resume of 58 years.’ He said, ‘The truth will come out.’ It’s certainly cryptic.”
It’ll be interesting to see what Gruden has to say when he finally opens up in public which appears may happen fairly soon.
