Despite the fact that the New York Jets lost future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers to what appears to be a torn Achilles just four snaps into his career with the team, the Jets still were able to beat the Buffalo Bills on Monday night.
The Jets’ road to victory was paved by Bills’ quarterback Josh Allen, who had four turnovers in the game. While the Bills have one of the most talented rosters in the league, it’s almost an impossible task for any team to overcome that type of erratic play at the quarterback position.
Following the loss, NFL fans took to Twitter that perhaps Allen is too distracted with his new popstar girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld.

Steinfeld is a 26-year-old singer, actress, and model who is known for voicing Gwen Stacy in the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse movies and for playing Hawkeye/Kate Bishop in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The pair began dating earlier this year and have been spotted together by paparazzi in Los Angeles and Mexico.
In the season-opener against the Jets, Allen completed 29 of 41 passes for 236 yards, one touchdown, three interceptions, and a fumble.

While he’s widely considered to be one of the best quarterbacks in the National Football League, his turnovers have long been a backbreaking feature of his play.
Allen and the Bills will look to get their first win of the 2023 season when they host the Las Vegas Raiders in Buffalo on Sunday, September 17.
Regardless of their loss to the Jets on Monday night, the Bills road to winning the AFC East for a fourth-straight season likely became easier due to the injury of Rodgers, which now makes the Jets — who were expected to be a Super Bowl contender — a significantly weaker team.
