It was pretty apparent the Cavaliers had as good of shot at beating the Warriors in the NBA Finals as I would trying to score a carnival hoop shooting a medicine ball. But sports needs a scapegoats and J.R. Smith volunteered whole-heartedly after his Game 1 blunder that I don’t need to remind you of. Granted, LeBron James did punch a black board following the fuck up and played the final three games with a “severe hand injury.”

What’s done is done and LeBron packed his shit to move 3,000 miles away only to leave J.R. Smith with a team of cardboard cutouts. And despite LeBron telling reporters that Smith “probably took that loss as hard as anybody,” it appears if his attitude has changed.

Smith posted a photo of one of his daughters and wrote her face looks like his when “I didn’t shoot after Game 1!”

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
