Coach John Calipari was seen in Nashville today where he was rooting on the Kentucky women’s basketball team in the SEC championship game.

Calipari’s men’s team finished up the regular season Saturday with a win over Florida to land the third seed in the upcoming conference tournament. That third place standing gives the Wildcats a double-bye in the event, meaning their first game won’t be played until next Friday.

With the week-long break between games, Coach Cal turned his attention to the women’s team who was taking on top seeded South Carolina in the SEC Championship.

And what a game the head coach got to witness.

Kentucky overcame a late deficit, drilling a three-pointer with less than five seconds on the clock to land a 64-62 win. They outscored the Lady Gamecocks by 14 points in the fourth quarter to pull the improbable upset.

Coach Cal was definitely enjoying the madness.

He might’ve been celebrating a little too hard because, apparently, he lost an expensive accessory in the excitement.

John Calipari Offers Reward To The Fan That Finds His Rolex

Calipari lost his watch in the celebration, and you can see the moment it happened in the video below.

In the game’s closing moments, the head coach throws his hands in the air, sending his white gold Rolex flying a few rows behind him. It looks as though someone picks it up shortly after.

Calipari is now offering a reward to the person that returns the Rolex to its rightful owner. Apparently, it’s his lucky watch!

Calipari and the Wildcats may need that luck in next week’s SEC Tournament. The league is arguably the toughest in the country, and a conference championship could land Kentucky a No. 1 seed in the Big Dance.

Update: The Watch Has Been Found!

The watch was returned to its rightful owner by none other than Women’s Basketball head coach Kyra Elzy. We’re not sure if the two co-workers will work out that reward that Calipari was offering, but it was certainly the best ending to a fantastic weekend in Kentucky college basketball.
