The College Football world was stunned back in October when a violent brawl broke out after the Michigan-Michigan State game.
Scuffles on the gridiron aren’t uncommon. But seeing a 7-to-1 fight in the tunnel after a game is something the College Football world hadn’t seen before.
It was so severe that seven Michigan State players were charged with varying degrees of assault for their roles in the melee. And now, Michigan State cornerback Khary Crump has been sentenced for his part in the altercation.
Khary Crump was the only Michigan State Spartan charged with a felony. He was facing one charge of felony assault but accepted a plea deal and pled guilty to Misdemeanor Assault and Battery and Disorderly Person Jostling, according to TMZ Sports.

I can honestly say this is the first time in my life I’ve heard of ‘Disorderly Person Jostling’ as a criminal charge.
Khary Crump’s sentence was light considering he was facing a felony assault charge as recently as a month ago. He was sentenced to 12 months of probation and 80 hours of community service for his role in the altercation.

The Michigan Wolverines blew out the Michigan State Spartans 29-7 in that game. Tensions were running high but nobody expected to see what happened in the tunnel after the game.
