The NBA Playoffs are really heating up right now as the first round is nearing an end.
However, no other fanbases might be as excited as the New York Knicks. The team has taken a 3-1 series lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Although the series isn’t over yet, the fanbase can’t help but share some excitement already.
In fact, Knicks fans have shut down the city block outside MSG as they’re partying as if they’ve won the NBA Finals or something. Here’s a quick peek at the scene in New York.

There’s still some work to do, as New York is one game away from advancing to the second round.
Even so, Knicks fans are out here celebrating the Game 3 win like crazy. ESPN Stats & Info shares some details about the franchise that might explain why the fanbase is going bonkers already.
On Wednesday April 26, the Knicks will play in a playoff game with a chance to win a series for the first time since May 3, 2013.

That’s a rather long history of failure. With that in mind, it’s no wonder Knicks fans are clogging up the streets right outside of MSG.
New York is set to take on the Cavaliers again on April 26. If the Knicks can clinch the victory, they’ll be on to round two.
If this is how the fans act after winning a decisive Game 3 matchup, we can only imagine what it’s going to be like if this team goes on a serious run for the championship.
