The L.A. Lakers might suck so much ass, but that doesn’t mean that tickets to see the team play Wednesday night against the Utah Jazz have dropped at all thanks to the game carrying just a little extra significance.

That’s because it’s Kobe Bryant’s final NBA game, leaving many Lakers/hoops fans going absolutely crazy when buying tickets, with one guy even dropping $55,000 to sit courtside to hear how much trash Kobe’s talking for the last time.

For reference, I spent $175/ticket to sit 4th row at the L.A. Kings game last week and I’ll probably be eating cereal and Ramen for the rest of the month.

And if you think that the dude who spent a year’s salary for you or me to see Bryant play, after peeping StubHub, it looks as if there are still plenty of other seats available that show more fans might be willing to spend anywhere between $15k-25k to sit as close as possible for the Mamba.

With the average price of a ticket for the game being about $1,000 and the lowest price on StubHub at $740, if you’re a Lakers fan who wants to witness the team get blown out one last time as Kobe jacks up a bunch of ill-advised shots, get ready to drain your bank account.
