Kobe Bryant just dropped out of the conversation of Mount Rushmore of NBA all-time greats after a new video seemingly debunking one of his most iconic moments has been widely circulated online. We have yet to hear from the league’s front office about whether or not they’ll strip Kobe of one or all five of his NBA titles after the damning footage has been made public. Rumor has it that the Lakers organization is cutting both number 8 and 24 jerseys from the rafters and they will be worn by Michael Beasley and Lance Stephenson this year, respectively.

What a change of events. Life comes at you fast.

NBA writer Chris Martin Palmer reportedly spoke to Kobe about #FLINCHGATE and claims the former Lakers legend doesn’t seem fazed by the truth. He tweeted:

Just talked to Kobe a couple minutes ago about this. He hadn’t heard about it yet. He wasn’t worried. At all. “You gotta remember I was swaying. He did it and I didn’t balk.”

For those who haven’t seen the footage, please pour one out for all of your Kobe disciples before watching.

I think I just became a conspiracy theory guy. Anyone know where I can cop a “Jet fuel can’t melt steal beams” bumper sticker? Need to put it on the back of my vespa ASAP.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
