If you are Nike and that man is your golden goose LeBron James, you commission The Shoe Surgeon Dominic Chambrone to create some custom diamond and gold LeBron 15s worth more than $100,000. That’s what.
“Thank you @Nike for collaborating with me on the most challenging yet rewarding shoe I’ve created to date, in celebration of @kingjames 30k point milestone,” wrote Chambrone on Instagram.
Insane.
The Shoe Surgeon also wrote about the one-of-one sneakers, “The Diamond and Gold LeBron 15 handcrafted out of genuine crocodile skin, finished in 24 karat gold and elevated with authentic, solid-gold details – Riri zippers with custom zipper pulls, heel clips, lace loops and diamond-adorned shoelace aglets. As an extra gift, the shoes are accompanied by a specially-made, diamond cut, authentic gold necklace – featuring a custom-made lion head pendant hanging from a Franco gold chain – a congratulatory gift only fit for the King himself.”
That’s right, folks, the diamond and gold shoes weren’t enough, LeBron also got an “extra gift” of a specially-made, diamond cut, authentic gold necklace. The rich just keep on getting richer, kids.
