The LA Lakers are a terrible shooting team, and LeBron James isn’t afraid to point it out.
During Tuesday night’s opening night game, the Lakers shot an abysmal 10-40 from the 3-point range despite getting plenty of open shots in the team’s blowout loss to the Warriors.
Good morning, Lakers looked horrible last night, shot 10/40 from the 3 point line 🙃

Several Lakers fans criticized GM Rob Pelinka for not surrounding LeBron and Anthony Davis with shooters.
How could the Lakers build a team around LeBron that lacks shooting AGAIN??
Not to mention poor defenders.
Man, I don’t get it. The man is 38. The idea is things should be easier on him.

Having LeBron James on your team and not surrounding him with consistent shooters is the most egregious example of basketball malpractice.

After the game, LeBron was brutally honest and admitted that the team wasn’t constructed of great shooters, which many saw as a shot at the Lakers’ front office.
“We’re getting great looks, but it could also be teams giving us great looks. To be completely honest, we’re not a team constructed of great shooting… It’s not like we’re sitting here with a lot of lasers on our team.”

Lakers fans loved LeBron’s honesty and are urging the team’s front office to begin making moves to acquire shooters.
As direct a shot at Rob Pelinka as I can remember Bron ever sending. He's publicly identifying the OBVIOUS issue everyone can see and passive aggressively suggesting Rob do something about it. https://t.co/Z6edk9t7LQ
