Early this morning, LiAngelo Ball, the brother of Lakers star Lonzo Ball, told Yahoo Sports’ Shams Charania that he was declaring the 2018 NBA draft which was pretty shocking considering he’s not any team’s radar.

LiAngelo Ball has declared for the 2018 NBA draft, his agent, Harrison Gaines, told Yahoo Sports.
LiAngelo Ball is expected to work out for several NBA teams when he returns from playing for Vytautas and will participate in the Pro Basketball Combine at IMG Academy (Florida) in May in front of team executives. As NBA teams increasingly value 3-point shooting and defending wings, Ball will have an opportunity to prove to teams that he is a potential draft pick.
On the same day h he declared for the 2018 NBA draft, LiAngelo balled out of control and had a double-double with 72 points and 11 rebounds during today’s Big Baller Brand challenge.
It was worth noting that the Big Baller Challenge features teams from lower divisions and youth competition, so LiAngelo’s 72 point outing should be taken with a grain of salt.
LiAngelo will take part in the Professional Basketball Combine at Florida’s IMG Academy in May to try to impress coaches and scouts against much higher quality competition.
