Remember when LaVar Ball fired a shot at Shaq asking him, “Why doesn’t your son wear your signature shoe?” Yeah, well, after seeing Lonzo Ball at his workout for the Lakers wearing adidas and not his $495 signature shoe, many are asking LaVar the same question.
Maybe Lonzo just can’t afford the Big Baller Brand Z02’s, which of course would mean that he, according to LaVar, isn’t really a “Big Baller.”
Or maybe, just maybe, Lonzo knows that James Harden’s signature adidas shoe, AKA the shoes he wore at the workout, are actually, you know, better basketball shoes. Either way, this development certainly isn’t going to help LaVar when it comes to maintaining the monster amount of sales he has been bragging about for his brand.
Especially since Twitter, as usual, decided to hold a little roasting sesh for Lonzo and his choice in footwear…
