If you aren’t watching Luka Dončić play on a nightly basis, you’re missing out. The young Slovenian superstar is as skilled of an offensive player as there has ever been in the NBA. The guard is averaging 33 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists a game for the 14-13 Dallas Mavericks. Without him, it would be hard to see them winning any games at all. Dallas still needs to build around their generational talent, but he’s a great starting piece to win titles.
He is known for having a bit of a temper, though, and is liable to get technical fouls. He’s averaging 0.23 technical fouls per game this year, mostly for screaming at officials. But, this one was pretty weird.

Talk about a quick trigger from the referee. He should probably figure out who the player is cursing out before he rings him up for a technical.
But, Luka Dončić plans to appeal and he thinks he will win the suspension.
Luka Doncic on his technical foul vs. Thunder: "I'll get that one back for sure."
On referee explanation/sending video to NBA: "He said that I looked to him, but I didn't look at him. We sent about seven angles to the NBA office so they can see I was yelling to teammates." pic.twitter.com/eQtmnG6ybs

The Mavs beat the Thunder, 121-114, behind 38-11-11 from the star guard.
