The Atlanta Falcons fell in overtime to the Washington Commanders on Sunday night, 30-24. Linebacker Matthew Judon caught two Ls on the evening.
Prior to the contest, he was seen interacting with a heckler while making his way to the locker room. A frustrated Judon was seen smacking the fan’s phone from his hands as he exited the field.

In the now-viral video, you can see the heckler get the attention of two Atlanta players as they walked off the sidelines. The fan wasn’t able to spark a major reaction from the first, but he succeeded in doing so with Matthew Judon.
Judon later took those frustrations out on his opponent when the contest kicked off. The defender racked up four tackles, two of which came behind the line of scrimmage. He also recorded one sack of QB Jayden Daniels.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough for the Falcons to leave Washington with a win. After tying the game at 24-24 in the fourth quarter, the Atlanta defense was unable to keep the Commanders out of the endzone in overtime.
Daniels connected with tight end Zach Ertz on the final play of the game for a three-yard score. With the win, Washington clinched a playoff spot.
The Falcons, meanwhile, fell to 8-8 on the season. That’s a disappointing result considering the team’s 6-3 start to the year. The loss was the squad’s fifth in its last seven games. Atlanta’s now fallen one game below Tampa Bay in the NFC South standings, providing a hit to playoff hopes.
