Things got a bit awkward between Mercedes Mone and a reporter ahead of AEW’s All-In event in London.
Earlier this month, Mone, formerly WWE’s Sasha Banks, opened up about her recent divorce and how she kept her marriage woes a secret so that it wouldn’t affect her wrestling career.

“Finally, after a long, long time, I’ll be signing my divorce papers. I’m excited, happy, and for me, I’m just ready to be free. I’m ready to be free of being afraid.
“For so long, I’ve kept this secret because of how fast life has been going, and so much that has been happening in wrestling and everything, and I just didn’t want the outside world to judge or say anything, especially during the time all of this was happening.
“But, you know, I’m getting a divorce and Sarath, my ex-husband now, we have such a great relationship and he’s such an amazing, incredible guy that I’m so thankful for. He’s another person that changed and saved my life.”
“But I’m excited to be free and say that I’m finally getting a divorce.”
On Sunday, Mone was asked about her divorce during a press conference and she did not seem happy with the question.
Reporter: “A few weeks ago, you opened up about something serious you were dealing with personally in your life”
Mone: Oh god, what are you going to ask me?…I’m not going to date you”
When the reporter finally asked what advice she would give someone going through a divorce, she replied “why are you going to tell your wife something?”
