The Super Bowl is right around the corner and now one Hall of Fame wide receiver is in some deep water.
Michael Irvin has officially been removed from his remaining appearances at Super Bowl events.
According to Michael Gehlken, the NFL Network won’t have Irvin at any events moving forward “after a woman accused him of misconduct.”

Reports indicate that the alleged incident took place in a hotel lobby. Ivin claims “they spoke briefly, and their only physical contact was a parting handshake,” per Gehlken.
Michael Irvin is adamant that nothing happened between him and the woman, according to the Dallas News. He proclaims, “What law did I break? There was definitely nothing physical. That’s honestly all that happened.”
Irvin proceeds by stating, “Nobody was in my room. It was a 45-second conversation in the lobby, a handshake and we left. I don’t know. I don’t know what this is, and it’s running me crazy.”
In the end, the accusations have been made and the NFL Network decided to remove Michael Irvin for the time being.
Football fans are wondering what’s going on as well. Especially considering how every well-run hotel has video cameras in the lobby.
