Former New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas was once one of the best wide receiver in the NFL. But, his skills declined pretty quickly as he struggled to stay healthy, including a season-ending injury last year.
It appears that Michael Thomas still harbors some ill will towards Saints quarterback Derek Carr after Carr threw the pass that injured Thomas last season. After Carr threw a pass over the middle that led to Chris Olave getting hammered by two Carolina Panthers and leaving the game with a concussion, Thomas sounded off on Twitter.
Here’s the play that got Chris Olave hurt.
This is exactly what Tom Brady was referencing when he talked about good Quarterbacks not putting their receivers in dangerous situations.
Derek Carr just sent Chris Olave to the hospital.

Thankful, Olave has movement in all extremities and was taken to a local hospital.
After the play, Michael Thomas sounded off on Twitter, trashing Derek Carr for putting his receivers in danger and criticizing his overall ability as a quarterback.
Thomas has good reason to not like Carr. In Carr’s first season in New Orleans, he may have ended Thomas’s career with the pass. that led to Thomas getting hurt. He hasn’t played in the NFL since.
Later in the game, Carr put another Saint in danger, this time floating a pass to Juwan Johnson.

It seems like Michael Thomas has a point.
