Anthony Edwards has emerged as the undisputed star of the NBA playoffs while leading the Minnesota Timberwolves to the Western Conference Final, and the tourism board for the state the team calls home has embraced the slightly profane message he sent to Charles Barkley after they punched their ticket to the next round.
On Sunday, the Minnesota Timberwolves warded off a Nuggets team that crawled out of a 2-0 hole to eventually force a Game 7 that ended with Denver being sent home for the season after falling by a score of 98-90.
Anthony Edwards had a relatively quiet night, as the man who’s averaged 28.9 points per game over the course of the current postseason only contributed 16 points to Minnesota’s cause.
However, he still got the chance to chat with the Inside the NBA crew after the game and emphatically told Charles Barkley to “Bring ya a–” to Minnesota for the next series after the co-host revealed he hadn’t been to the state in approximately 20 years.
It didn’t take long for that comment to go viral, and comedian (and Timberwolves fan) Jon Savitt opted to buy the three-word domain name that now redirects to the homepage for Explore Minnesota, which is operated by the state’s tourism office.
The Minnesota tourism board had previously adopted “Find Your True North” as its official slogan, and while it’s hard to imagine it has plans to pivot to “Bring Ya A–” on a permanent basis, it appears to have embraced it for the time being when you consider it’s now prominently featured on the aforementioned website and at the center of an image that was posted on social media.

Again, it’s a bit hard to imagine Minnesota is going to go all-in on “Bring Ya A–,” but it would easily have the best tourism slogan in the country if it decided to go that route.
