Nate Diaz may be fighting Jake Paul again, or he could be trolling.
Earlier this week, Paul announced that he would be fighting again on December 15th but failed to reveal his next opponent.
“8 fights in the boxing game and I’m already its biggest name,” said Jake Paul via a a press release. “I’ve proved that I can headline the biggest global events and defy the odds. PPV after PPV after PPV, and I’m just getting started. My mission is to be a world champion and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get there. December 15th is the next step on my journey, and I promise you’re not going to want to miss it.”
On Wednesday, Diaz tweeted a poster claiming he would be fighting Paul again on December 15th.

Fans were confused about whether or not Diaz would fight Paul in MMA or boxing.
if it’s MMA i’ll actually buy the PPV
if it’s boxing then we’re good

Diaz had claimed that he had suffered an injury during training camp in the lead-up to his boxing match vs Paul and is possibly angling for a second fight.
During a recent podcast appearance, Paul said he wants to take a more traditional boxing route instead of fighting MMA fighters, which seems at odds with Diaz’s announcement.
“I want to take this more traditional boxing route of moving up into the rankings, fighting professionals, and taking the route to become world champion. Like the prospect of my caliber would be doing. We’re looking at some pro boxers, and they’re not gonna be big names. I want to challenge myself, continue to grow in this sport and get to the top of it.”
While Diaz is still a big draw, a boxing rematch with Paul probably wouldn’t do well, considering how lackluster the first fight turned out to be.
