Nate Diaz is not a fan of Khamzat Chimaev. Over the weekend, Chimaev became the UFC middleweight champion with a dominant win against Dricus Du Plessis.

Despite controlling the fight, Chimaev was criticized for not finishing Du Plessis.

After the fight, Diaz called out Chiamev for his fighting style.

During a recent livestream with Sneako, Diaz explained why he didn’t like Chimaev as a fighter.

“I don’t like that kind of fighter… It’s boring to me. Like when he is on the ground all time. He supposed to be a big scary guy, right? And remember when he had him in side control and holding him. And then he hits ’em a little bit, little soft punches.

‘That’s what people don’t understand about the style, like that type of fighter is a scared fighter. He’s scared for his life that he don’t let go enough to hit. He’s afraid if he let him go and hits them hard, that motherf–ker might get up and kick the f–k out of ’em. So that’s just scared style to me. It comes off as this big intimidating guy, but he’s a big old scared f–king child. That’s why I tweeted about he not a fighter because you could tell by how scared he is holding ’em that tight.”

Diaz believes that his Jiu-Jitsu style would have stymied Chimaev if they had ever fought.

“I didn’t plan on getting up when I fought Khamzat. Lets go to the ground motherf–ker. I’m a blackbelt. I plan on going to my back and finishing your f–king a– or or splitting your whole face open for 25 minutes.”
