These ridiculous NBA first basket parlays just keep coming.
On Monday, we saw one bettor cash in a $75,000 payout after correctly picking the first scorer in five different professional basketball games. The improbable wager saw LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Cade Cunningham, Jonas Valanciunas, and Fred VanVleet get a bucket to start the game, seeing a massive return on this $10 slip.
As if the $75,000 winner wasn’t enough, later that night we saw another insane payday which more than doubled the five-figure total.

This bettor saw each of their six first scorer predictions successfully hit, resulting in a ridiculous $157,000.
Not bad for a $5 wager.
Like the previous slip, the bettor correctly picked Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Jonas Valanciunas, and Cade Cunningham to make the first basket. Cunningham, in particular, was a long shot boasting +700 odds.
They also picked first buckets from Kristaps Porzingis and Jayson Tatum to cap the night off with a bang.
The near impossible odds for the parlay came in at more than +2.8 million or 28,000/1.
These are the slips we just absolutely love to see. They give us hope when we’re over here sweating out massive money line bets on No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament.
This bettor has certainly given us that hope. Maybe some of that luck will rub off on the rest of us.
