NFL Legend Tom Brady Answers If He’ll Ever Return Back To Playing

NFL legend Tom Brady reiterated his decision to retire from professional football, dismissing any possibilities of a comeback for the foreseeable future.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated’s Robin Lundberg, the 45-year-old sports icon, widely regarded as the greatest quarterback of all time, stated with conviction, “I’m certain I’m not playing again.”

Since officially announcing his retirement in February, Brady has consistently quashed rumors of a potential return to the gridiron. With his purchase of a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders and with the foot surgery on Raiders’ quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, speculation regarding Brady’s comeback has persisted.

Nevertheless, the veteran athlete has made it clear that he remains committed to staying retired, regardless of any circumstances or inquiries.

Reports from May indicate that the sale of a minority share of the Raiders to Brady has been agreed upon and submitted to the NFL for approval.

However, it should be noted that this transaction is still pending league confirmation. The deal would see Brady become a partner of Raiders owner Mark Davis, with whom he is already involved as a minority stakeholder in the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces. Furthermore, Brady is set to join Fox Sports as an analyst next year and is actively engaged in various personal business ventures.

The retired quarterback, who possesses an unmatched resume boasting seven Super Bowl victories—six with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers—has mostly refrained from discussing the prospects of resuming his playing career.

Brady’s retirement from the NFL on February marked the end of a legendary 23-season career. Throughout his tenure, he solidified his status as the greatest quarterback to have ever graced the league.

The 45-year-old superstar leaves behind a plethora of records, including those for passing touchdowns, passing yards, completions, division titles, wins, and quarterback starts. His remarkable achievements extend to being the only player in NFL history to defeat all 32 teams and holding nearly every postseason quarterback record.
