The Green Bay Packers got a bit chippy on Sunday night. So much so, that Quay Walker was ejected after shoving a medical staff member on the Detroit Lions for no good reason.
He caught plenty of heat for it as the staff member was simply doing his job. On top of that, the timing was incredibly poor with Damar Hamlin’s situation still fresh on the mind.
Well, the Packers’ linebacker finally issued an apology for his actions in the game. Although his actions were wrong, this is the exact type of apology we like to see. Straight to the point and admits he was in the wrong. This is a great example of what an apology should look like.
I understand I have to face everything that comes with the decision I’ve made and I’m definitely paying for it now.

The Packers linebacker even addresses the video of him storming off in the tunnel. At the time, it wasn’t a great look as it appears Quay Walker is throwing a fit for being ejected.

However, Walker offers an explanation for his reaction in the Packers’ tunnel. On top of that, he apologized to the Lions and the medical staff member again.
Also to explain my frustration in the tunnel. I wasn’t upset about being kicked out, I just knew I messed up again and was wrong for what I did and couldn’t believe I did it again. To the Detroit lions and to the entire training staff including the person I did that too.I’m sorry

Quay Walker was in the wrong and he knew it. So, it’s nice to see a good apology for once. Hopefully, this incident changes things for Walker in the future. He’s a great player and the Packers would greatly benefit if he cleans up his game.
