In a not at all surprising move, four months later, Odell Beckham Jr. is still salty over the fact that the New York Giants traded him to the Cleveland Browns during the offseason.

Reports following the trade were that Beckham had become “too much of a pain in the ass” and was a negative locker room presence.

In June, Beckham claimed that the Giants were holding him back from reaching his full potential.

This week Beckham was profiled by GQ and said he felt disrespected by the Giants and that coach Pat Shurmur was the reason he got traded to Cleveland.

Specifically, OBJ was upset that Shurmur didn’t tell him about the trade face-to-face.

“I felt disrespected they weren’t even man enough to even sit me down to my face and tell me what’s going on,” said Beckham.

“The G.M. And I’ll forever have respect for [Giants president and CEO] Mr. Mara. Everything he’s ever done for me, he’s shown nothing but love. Even when we were having our talks, it was coming from a place of love. I could always feel it. So I’ll forever have respect for him. But to be called like that and then be texted by your coach and be like, ‘Oh, yeah, I heard the news.’ Yeah, you heard the news? It happened because of you. The reason I’m gone is because of you,” Beckham continued. “It was just tough because of the way I initially felt.”

When asked about Beckham’s comments regarding him in GQ on Wednesday, Shurmur seemed surprised, if not unconcerned.

“I’m the reason? That’s what he said? I really don’t have any reaction, other than I know when the trade was made, we felt like we went through it in a professional way,” Shurmur said with a shrug. “He was out of the country at the time when it happened, and we made efforts to get in touch with him. I know [GM] Dave [Gettleman] actually did speak to him, and I made efforts to get in touch with him, both through phone and text. But he was out of the country.”

“But listen, I’ve said it all along. We’re hopeful that he can go to Cleveland and help them win football games and play good football. So that’s really the gist of it,” Shurmur added.

Good luck, Cleveland.
