Penn State quarterback commit Peyton Falzone has massive hands. They are bigger than those of future NFL Hall of Fame tight end Rob Gronkowski and they allow him to throw a wicked tight spiral.
Once you see it, you won’t be able to unsee it!
Falzone, a native of Pennsylvania, rates as a four-star prospect in the college football recruiting Class of 2026. He is ranked as the No. 11 quarterback in the country and a top-200 player overall. Although there are still six months until the Early Signing Period, he seems pretty locked in on the Nittany Lions. Utah, Auburn and Iowa are also in the mix, as well as West Virginia, Rutgers, Virginia Tech and Syracuse, but Penn State seems to be his school of choice for the long haul.
There are a lot of things to like about Falzone. His 6-foot-5, 200-pound frame pairs nicely with surprising athleticism for someone his size. Very few high school quarterbacks have a background in both competitive swimming and track and field— specifically sprinting, hurdles and the high jump. It is something that I have never seen, at least. (And did I mention that he also punts?!)
The first thing you might notice about Peyton Falzone, beyond his height and athleticism, are his hands. They’re huge! Flip to the second slide below:
Here’s another look:

Lets put this in perspective. Falzone’s hands measure at 11 inches. That is bigger than every quarterback currently in the NFL.
- Russell Wilson — 10 1/4 inches
- Josh Allen — 10 1/8 inches
- Trevor Lawrence — 10 inches
- Dak Prescott — 10 1/4 inches
- CJ Stroud — 10 inches
- Will Levis — 10 5/8 inches
- Jordan Love — 10 1/2 inches
- Justin Herbert — 10 inches
- Anthony Richardson — 10 1/2 inches
- Matthew Stafford — 10 inches
Rob Gronkowski’s hands measured at 10 3/4 inches. Peyton Falzone has him beat as a rising senior in high school. The extra grip helps him to throw an extremely tight spiral.
He might need some fine-tuning in terms of mechanics on the next level but he can really rip it!
Peyton Falzone is a name to remember. There is no other quarterback like him. Penn State landed a unicorn at the most important position in football!
