The Raiders have had a turbulent week, first suffering an embarrassing loss on primetime the Lions on Monday Night Football, and then firing their coach and general manager.
WR1 Davante Adams, who caught just one pass in the game, and was visibly upset after now bench quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo missed him on a pair of wide open touchdowns, decided to blow off steam in the locker room.
While playing basketball, Adams jokingly pretended to be the media: “Hey get ready for this, I call it right now… ‘This is why they’re losing. They’re worried about the wrong s—. They’re in the locker room playing basketball. F—— run the right route. Catch the ball.'”

Adams had his usual outstanding season last year 2022 with with his BFF, quarterback Derek Carr, but has seen a decline in his performance this year while playing with three different quarterbacks.
In eight games with the Raiders this season, he has caught 47 passes for 539 yards and three touchdowns. Not bad, but not exactly the usual standard we come to expect from Adams.
On a positive note, Adams said on new head coach Antonio Pierce: “I’m ready to run through a wall for that man. It’s a good feeling.”
