During tonight’s NFL draft, the Oakland Raiders traded down with the Arizona Cardinals, who took former UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen. and Oakland, with Arizona’s pick, decided to take former UCLA tackle, Kolton Miller.
While Kolton Miller is a fine pick, nearly every expert had him as either a late first round pick or early second rounder.
According to Sports Illustrated’s Mike Silver, the Raiders were dead set on drafting an offensive tackle.

The #Raiders wanted a tackle. They were going to draft McGlinchey and when he was gone, they would have taken Miller 10th if no trade down, as @MikeSilver just said
Raiders fans were not happy with Gruden for picking Miller.

The Raiders should be ashamed of themselves. What a bad pick with so many quality players left on the board.

Me: I have no faith in Jon Gruden to do anything smart.
Gruden: Let me get the 90th best player on Rob’s board at No. 15
Me: Sounds about right
