If you’re younger than 50 and you’re a fan of the Raiders, I am so sorry. All you’ve seen is terrible loss after terrible loss. For many years, the team hasn’t even been competitive. When it has been good, it’s underachieved, like when they got blown out in Super Bowl XXVIII by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers despite being the favorite.
This year has been no exception. Las Vegas has a talented roster and acquired superstar wideout Davante Adams to pair with Derek Carr in first-year head coach Josh McDaniels’ offense.
But, they’ve struggled. They got off to a putrid 0-3 start. But, they climbed back to a record of 5-7 heading into a Thursday Night Football game against the ailing Los Angeles Rams. The Rams, who have lost six in a row, started some guy named John Wolford at quarterback. Baker Mayfield, recently picked up off waivers from the Panthers less than 48 hours before game time was the backup. They’re also without Cooper Kupp, Aaron Donald, and Allen Robinson, among others.
Easy win for Vegas, right? Wrong.
The Raiders lost in humiliating fashion
Vegas had lost six games by less than one score. Make that 7. In a game they dominated for 55 minutes, they gave up two late touchdowns to Baker Mayfield and the Rams to lose 17-16.

Nice ball by Baker. But, arguably the worst loss in the entire league this year by the Raiders, and their fans are ticked off. It’s just another terrible collapse.
Josh McDaniel Raiders literally lost games to an interim HC who had never coached in the NFL AND a QB who didn't know the playbook
they've lost FOUR games after leading by 13+ points…
THAT TIES THE NFL RECORD
yikes
