The Raiders moving to Las Vegas is going to be quite a fascinating story when it finally takes place in either 2019 or, more likely, 2020.
Not only will an NFL team being in Las Vegas lead to the obvious issues of sports betting and ahem, brothels, there is also the fact that they will be moving into a state-of-the-art new stadium that looks freaking incredible.
Whether or not the Raiders will be able to fill it on a regular basis with so many other competing forms of entertainment (*cough* Los Angeles) remains to be seen.
That being said, when the Raiders officially announced that their plan to move to Las Vegas Pro Football Talk reported that only about 1,000 fans asked for season ticket refunds, which were then proceeded to be bought up by other fans, according to Raiders owner Mark Davis.
Previously we had only seen some renderings of what this new Raiders football stadium in Las Vegas would look like, and it looked pretty darn sweet.

However, on Wednesday at 5 p.m. PT, the Raiders will hold be a groundbreaking ceremony in Las Vegas which should signal the beginning of the actual construction. As such, the team just dropped a new virtual look at what the stadium will look like, and it looks like it’s going to be a destination location for sure.
