The Tennessee Titans are going to try to keep as many Cincinnati Bengals fans out of Nissan Stadium as possible during their playoff matchup on Saturday, and Ryan Tannehill’s wife Lauren loves it.
The Titans and Bengals will square off in Nashville on Saturday afternoon and Tennessee has legitimately made it tougher for Bengals fans to get tickets to the game.
Tennessee changed its ticket transferring rules ahead of the game by limiting the transfer window for tickets. After tickets are purchased for the game they can’t be transferred to someone else until 24 hours before kickoff.
“We want Nissan Stadium to be two-tone blue. And so by limiting this transfer window, it also limits the number of visiting team fans that we’ll have in the stadium, Brooke Ellenberger, Vice President of Ticketing for the Titans, told News Channel 5.
Ryan Tannehill’s Wife Appreciates The Titans’ Ticket Policy
Lauren Tannehill is all about this move from the Titans. She took to Instagram on Thursday and re-shared a Sports Illustrated story about the news calling it “incredible,” according to the New York Post.
Kelly Stafford, the wife of Rams QB Matthew Stafford, has been outspoken about opposing fans taking over games this season, so it’s no surprise that she likes the effort from the Titans as well. Kelly posted the same story to her Instagram with the caption “this is awesome.”
Given the fact that Cincinnati is only about a four-hour drive from Nashville, there will be plenty of Bengals fans in Music City this weekend.
The Titans are just hopeful the majority of them take over Broadway and not half of Nissan Stadium.
