Scoot Henderson’s Jersey Number Reveal Has NBA Fans At Odds

After the Portland Trail Blazers were on fire in the rumor mill, the organization ended up keeping the pick and selected Scoot Henderson at No. 3 overall.

Many still speculate a possible trade for this team, but for now, the rumor mill is a bit quiet.

Having said that, fans are excited about having Henderson on the roster. He’s already generating some buzz though after revealing his jersey number.

During a press conference with the Portland media, Scoot Henderson revealed what number he’s going to wear for the Trail Blazers.

He wore No. 0 during his time in the G-League, but that number is clearly taken by Damian Lillard. So, he chose the next best option in 00 (the last player to wear 00 for the Blazers was actually Shaquille Harrison in 2023).

I think it’s an awesome number to go with. Considering his name is Scoot, there is likely some really cool logo designs he can make with a shoe deal or something.

Even so, some NBA fans are scratching their heads. Meanwhile, many are on board with Scoot Henderson’s jersey number.

Who would think Scoot Henderson’s jersey number would be so debated amongst basketball fans?

Oh well, he’ll look great in the uniform and hopefully, he can bring some much needed juice to the Blazers’ roster.
