Shannon Sharpe, once again, has ripped into Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant due to the 23-year-old NBA star’s behavior away from the court.
Back in February, Shannon Sharpe had a lot to say about an alleged incident involving Ja Morant and the Indiana Pacers bus. At that time, Sharpe said “I wish Ja would realize he’s not a thug. You’re not about that life!” and Shannon took a lot of heat for what he said.
On Monday’s Undisputed, Shannon Sharpe acknowledged all of the criticism he took from the community the last time he was critical of Ja Morant. Those criticisms didn’t stop Sharpe from ripping into Morant once again.
In this clip, Shannon says he “needs someone to tell (him) the fascination (Ja Morant) has with guns and feels the need to be on IG Live. That he needs to see people see him with that tool on him.” Sharpe points out that Morant makes $40 million a year, and questions why Ja would want to ‘live that life’.
"The best apology is changed behavior. You make $40M a year and you want to live that life? For what?!”

If you weren’t following NBA news over the weekend, Ja Morant was suspended AGAIN for flashing a gun on Instagram AGAIN.

His previous suspension was for 8 games, though it lasted longer, and there is now intense speculation on how long Ja Morant will be away from the NBA after this latest incident.
