Joe Burrow is the king of the universe these days. The 25-year-old, second-year quarterback for the Bengals has helped lead his team on a miraculous run through the NFL Playoffs and will play in his first Super Bowl less than three years after winning the College Football Playoff National Championship.

During Sunday’s AFC Championship, Burrow and Cincinnati fought back from an 18-point deficit to take down the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium and Burrow was a huge part of the comeback. His ability to escape pressure in the fourth quarter was a huge factor in the win.

With just under 12 minutes left in the game, the Bengals had the ball deep in their own half. The score was tied and Cincinnati was trying to drive and take the lead.

On 3rd-and-7, Burrow dropped back in the pocket but was quickly swarmed by the Kansas City defense. It did not look like he was going to escape.

The Chiefs had an opportunity to record a sack and force a turnover on downs, and a crazy freeze frame shows just how close that Burrow was from taking the sack. But he didn’t.

Somehow, some way, he avoided the loss of seven, wiggled his way out of the pocket, and scampered for a first down.

It was one of, if not the biggest play of the game and perhaps Burrow’s career. Cincinnati was able to get a field goal on the drive that proved crucial in advancing to overtime and ultimately winning the game.

Burrow’s run was crazy, but it looks even more insane in slow motion. Bryndon Minter captured the moment and it’s truly incredible.

Burrow’s run was amazing. It is even better on Minter’s Sony Alpha a7iii with G master 70-200 f/2.8 and 1.4x extender.
