And just like that football is back!
It certainly feels strange, but America’s game returned last week, with the Chiefs outlasting the Texans, as the defending champs started their year on the right foot.
After an awesome golf betting run this year, ending us up more than 20 units up on the season, I am here to guide you through best bets for the the season.
Each week I am going to select a teaser of the week, as well as my two favorite straight bets.

Teaser of the week
San Francisco 49ers -6.5 vs NY Jets
Kansas City Chiefs -8.5 vs LA Chargers
Let’s not overthink it here. We can tease down two of the best teams in football to under a field goal, going against two of the worst teams in the league. The Chargers and Jet’s both looked absolutely anemic on offense last week, and I can’t see them matching up well on defense in these matchups as well. Tease the Chiefs and 49ers down and profit.
The bet: Risk 1.5 units to win 1 unit
Straight Bets of the Week
LA Rams +1 vs Eagles
The Eagles are decimated by injury, notably on the offensive line. The Rams have an outstanding defensive line, highlighted by Aaron Donald. The Eagles are highly susceptible to the pass, and figure to not be able to give Carson Wentz much time to sit in the pocket. Take the Rams here to put a hurting on Wentz and company.
The bet: Risk 1.2 units to win 1 unit
San Francisco 49ers -6.5 vs NY Jets
Sticking with the above, let’s hammer San Francisco this week. Sam Darnold figures to have a rough go of it again this week against one of the best defenses in the league, and could be without his top wideout in Jamison Crowder. He’s already down Le’veon Bell, so the Jets are going to have a lot of problems
