Over the years, LeBron James has done everything in his power to surpass the legacy of Michael Jordan on the court, but as I recently noted, I feel like his relative lack of competitive fire has partly prevented him from doing so.
However, he’s also taking some steps off the court in an attempt to be like Mike, as a few years ago, he decided that he was the only man for the job when it came to making the Space Jam sequel the world has been eagerly awaiting for over 20 years (although not everyone is on board with it).
James initially had a bit of trouble recruiting some of his fellow stars to join him in the film, but after a long lobbying process, he managed to eventually convince Klay Thompson to come on board before announcing he’d assembled a pretty impressive cast that recently assembled as filming finally started to get underway.
We don’t really know a ton about Space Jam 2 as things currently stand, but on Tuesday, LeBron finally gave us a brief look at what we can expect while celebrating his beloved Taco Tuesday when he provided a very fleeting glimpse of the jersey the Tune Squad will be rocking in the upcoming film.
Being a movie star won't stop LeBron from celebrating TACO TUESDAY! If you look closely, you can also see a sneak preview of LeBron wearing the new Toon Squad jersey. 🌮🐰🏀

Like I said, it was a very fleeting look but I am firmly on board with the new uniform based on the color scheme alone, which looks like it’s straight out of the 1990s.
As the proud owner of an original Tune Squad jersey, I cannot wait to add this one to my collection.
