Wednesday night, NFL Network reporter Stacey Dales must have been taking in the Lakers vs. Sixers game when she made a comment criticizing Lonzo Ball on Twitter. She was pretty much stating the obvious: that Lonzo Ball’s performance so far this season has been pretty underwhelming. (Joel Embiid agrees.)
I know itโs early, but early happened to him. Lonzo Ball is the most over-hyped player I have ever seen. May he catch his stride ๐๐ผ

Naturally, a Ball family acolyte came out of the woodwork and essentially told Dales to stay in her lane. It didn’t go well for him.
Stick to nfl plz

Might want to do a quick check Wikipedia before making a comment like that…
Dales made an Olympic appearance for Canada in 2000 and was a first team All-American in 2001 and 2002. She was named the 2001 and 2002 Big 12 Conference Player of the Year and is the Big 12 all-time career assist leader (764). In 2002, she was the all-sports Academic All-American of the Year.[1] She was the first Oklahoma player to record 1,700 points, 600 rebounds and 700 assists. During her senior year she led the Sooners to the NCAA Championship game where they lost to Connecticut.
Oh yeah, she was also so good at basketball that when she graduated she was the third overall pick in the draft by the Washington Mystics. Annnnd she was also a men’s and women’s college basketball analyst on ESPN until she left there in 2008.
So what was Dales’ response to this troll?
I played basketball for over 25 years. In the WNBA. In the Olympics. Iโm a two-time first team All-American out of Oklahoma. They retired my jersey. Stick to remaining silent. https://t.co/IOXLaOEDfm

CBS Sports Football Analyst Amy Trask, AKA former CEO of the Oakland Raiders, seemed to enjoy it…
Maybe next time put OLYMPICS in all caps – that should always be a show stopper – and hi.

So did many others, including Warren Sapp, Michelle Steele and SVP, among others…

She didn’t stop there though, despite those pleas. She took the body bag and drop-kicked it into oblivion.

I just woke up. I really hate having to defend myself to internet midgets. People, start to respect women. We are JUST the other gender. Pretty mighty if you ask me.

Oh. And you should have seen me play.
