Steph Curry might be the NBA’s truest shooter of his generation, possibly ever. Curry holds the NBA record for the most 3-pointers ever made with a gap so far between him and Klay Thompson on 2nd place it is hard to imagine anyone will ever come close to sniffing Steph’s record.
Ahead of the Paris Olympics, Steph Curry is doing his part to whip the team into shape and playing the veteran role alongside Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Embiid, LeBron, Kawhi, and Jrue. And prior to one of Team USA Basketball’s recent tuneups, it was revealed there’s something Steph Curry is incapable of doing that this teammates can do: spin a basketball on his finger.
This isn’t the first time a video like this has been released. The NBA posted a similar video (same concept) about a year ago with different figures in it. Walker Kessler is also unable to spin a basketball on his finger.
The reason Steph Curry gets singled out here is because (1) he’s a freak with a basketball and (2) he begrudgingly admitted it. Steph was all “there’s a lot I can do with a basketball, but…” when he could’ve just said no:
A skill not all possess… Who on the #USABMNT can spin a ball on their finger? 🤔👀🏀 pic.twitter.com/mRwKDfJOKO

A slightly shorter version of the video has also been uploaded to YouTube if anyone would prefer that medium over X.
Elsewhere in Team USA Basketball news, Joel Embiid got caught foul baiting against practice squad players ahead of the team’s scrimmage prior to Paris… Foul baiting against practice squad players. My dude, why? WHY?
