Steph Curry turned heads at the American Century Golf Championship that featured many celebrities and sports figures.
He played out of his mind throughout the tournament, sinking a hole-in-one and hitting a walk-off eagle to win the whole thing.
The Golden State Warriors’ superstar proved to be just as accurate with a golf ball as he is with a basketball.
In fact, his skills were so impressive that former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski sparked an interesting debate on Twitter.
Soon after Steph Curry won the celebrity golf tournament, Gronkowski pondered if the superstar basketball player is good enough to go pro at golf.
He even paints the scenario of Curry putting his full time attention on golf instead of basketball. If that were the case, could the future Hall of Fame point guard play in the tour?
Is @StephenCurry30 better then some professional golfers?? Could he go pro in golf if he focused on golf like basketball?? Every golf shot I have seen by him has just been amazing. Hole in ones, draining long putts…what’s your thoughts??

Golf is an incredibly difficult sport and the people who are pros at it are absolutely phenomenal. Having said that, Steph Curry makes everything look easy. For that reason, it’s a valid question from Rob Gronkowski.
But the debate on Twitter actually had some good back-and-forth for once. Golf heads don’t think Curry could make it in the PGA, but what he did over the pas weekend is hard to argue against.
I don't think he could compete day in and day out these guys on tour so dialed in and remember they're playing the hardest golf courses out there but it would be fun to watch.

Everything Curry touches turns to gold.
I think he could. Watching it, felt like a major that had Tiger Woods playing in it. I remember when Tony Romo played golf and he was good but Steph looks better to me and we saw this real-time. I enjoyed watching yesterday.

Steph Curry’s hand-eye coordination is out of this world.
Yes.
Steph Curry has the best hand eye coordination I’ve seen in an athlete.

Maybe he’ll never go pro but once Curry retires it seems like he’ll be competitive in the golfing world at least.
It’s amazing watching him do anything. Like, is Curry bad at anything?
We’re just glad Curry participates in golf so we can watch him play. A part of me can’t wait for him to retire from basketball so he can compete in more golf events.
I’m not sure when that will be though, as he’s still chasing after rings with the Warriors.
