🚨 Stephen A. Smith says he and Jay-Z/Roc Nation were behind scenes getting @Kaepernick7 the NFL workout.

Smith’s former ESPN colleague Jemele Hill didn’t think Stephen A. should be inserting himself in the Kaepernick situation by helping him behind the scenes to get a workout.
Arguably ESPN’s most prominent talent admitting to help orchestrate a workout for Colin Kaepernick … yeah let me go back to minding my business. Guards! https://t.co/r5UNQwuDWI

Stephen A. wasn’t happy with Jemele calling him out on Twitter and immediately fired back.
1) I have a name. 2) It’s your colleague & friend….whose known you for YEARS! 3) What I’ve said on many occasions on @FirstTake & ESPN Radio: that I was behind the scenes speaking to ppl in support of getting Kaepernick back into NFL. So what’s the problem now? Happy Holidays! https://t.co/rvLHQpSvJ6

Jemele eventually backed off and said she would talk to Smith privately about the issue.
I’ll call you. Cause my initial tweet came from a very specific place. https://t.co/8l8Fy6q9hR
