Dylan Raiola and the Nebraska Cornhuskers won their college football season-opener against Cincinnati at Arrowhead in front of Taylor Swift. They lost to the Swifties after the game.
The University of Nebraska’s communications team bent the knee to the international pop star’s rabid fanbase and deleted a scandalous photoshop image from its official social media accounts.
Fortunately, the internet lives forever. We now live in a reality where Taylor Swift is getting mocked by one of the largest institutes of higher learning in the entire world.
Why does Taylor Swift care about college football?
If we’re being honest, she probably does not care at all. However, her fiancé and his brother graduated from the University of Cincinnati.
The Bearcats played an extremely unusual home game against the Huskers on Friday night at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, home of the Chiefs.
Both Kelce brothers were in attendance alongside a number of Travis’ teammates like Patrick Mahomes. Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift also showed up for some Thursday Night Lights.

It is crazy to think that the biggest pop star in the world likely knows of Dana Holgorsen.

She could also raise enough money to fire Cincinnati head coach Scott Satterfield in a matter of seconds. That’s pretty crazy.
Nebraska beat Cincinnati and mocked Travis Kelce.
Nebraska ultimately defeated the Kelce brothers’ alma mater by a score of 20-17. It was pretty gross at times but a win is a win and the box score looks pretty solid.
Raiola threw for 243 yards and two touchdowns on 33 completions. Emmett Johnson ran the ball 25 times for 108 yards. Nyziah Hunter caught six passes for 65 yards and a touchdown.
The Cornhuskers were riding pretty high after the win so they posted the following image to X from the university’s main account — not just the football team account:

Herbie Husker replaced Travis Kelce in his engagement photoshoot with Taylor Swift.
Unfortunately, come early Friday morning, the post was deleted. Nebraska succumbed to the pressure of the Swifties. The Cornhuskers feared their wrath. The post is removed from the university’s social media.
