The Texas Longhorns pulled out a road win over the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday to move one step closer to an SEC Championship Game appearance. While in Fayetteville, one UT cheerleader went viral on the sidelines.
The cheerleader was videotaped hilariously teasing Razorback fans who were attempting to troll Texas with “Horns Down” gestures. She critiqued the execution while chastising her opposition!
“Horns Down” has been a touchy subject for the Longhorns over the years. The go-to sign of disrespect when facing a Texas athletic team, the gesture typically litters the stands in opposing venues as fans do their best to put the team down.
In the Big 12, the Longhorns received some preferential treatment as foes could be penalized for displaying the hand signal during celebrations. That’s changed in the SEC!
“Horns Down” is prevalent when Texas visits rival stadiums. That was again the case at Arkansas. One Texas cheerleader decided to roll with the punches rather than run from the good, old-fashioned hate.

Razorback fans were spotted viciously hitting those “Horns Downs” hand gestures, aiming their disrespect towards the UT sidelines. The cheer squad brushed it off with ridicule of its own.
The Texas cheerleader provided viewers with the *correct* form, which these Arkansas supporters failed to grasp. She picked fun at the bystanders while the Longhorns raised their “Horns Up” with a 20-10 road win.
QB Quinn Ewers threw two touchdowns in the contest to help the Longhorns improve to 9-1 on the season. They’ll have an opportunity to play for the SEC Championship in their debut season if they can pick up wins against Kentucky and Texas A&M to close out the year.
If that comes to fruition, SEC fans should all get ready to learn “Horns Up.” Texas will be sure to let everyone hear it should they finish atop the standings in Year 1 with their new league.
