Tiger Woods had an historically bad first round at The US Open which ended with him getting laughed at by the gallery after he shanked a ball into the pot bunker on 18th.
The whole round was just hard to watch. On the eighth hole, Tiger accidentally flung his club 20 feet behind him following a terrible shot.
Later on, Tiger missed a couple of fairly close putts and you could see the anguish in his face.
Woods ended up finishing with a +10 and in 152nd place, which means he’s likely to miss the cut tomorrow.
As a longtime fan I’m hoping Tiger takes a significant break to work on his game instead of playing this badly and embarrassing himself on the biggest stage.
