The relationship between 2020 first-round pick Isaiah Wilson and the Tennessee Titans is deteriorating rapidly.
Earlier this week, Wilson, who barely played during his rookie season due to off-the-field issues, said that he was “done playing football as a Titan” in a now-deleted Tweet.

According to a report from AToZSportsNashville, Wilson had “begun to sour about his situation in Tennessee” after the Titans didn’t wish him a happy birthday on social media earlier this month.
An emotional Tweet is only the latest in a long list of offenses by Wilson that ultimately landed him on the non-football injury in December as his team attempted to win the AFC South. Robinson said the team had made no contact with the player since sending him away.
Per sources, Wilson had begun to sour on his situation in Tennessee after not receiving a customary birthday message from the team via their social media accounts earlier this month. Wilson turned 22 on February 12.
The relationship between Wilson and the Titans appears to be in decline.
Apparently, the Titans have no intention of trading or cutting Wilson despite all the drama but team GM Jon Robinson did have a message for the young player.

Wilson signed a four-year, $11.6 million contract back in August and carries a $5.4 million salary-cap hit if released. We’ll see if the Titans stick to their guns or eventually decide let him go.
