The New England Patriots got roughed up in Foxborough with a tough 23-16 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. But besides the sting of the loss at home, Tom Brady was also hurting following the defeat that gave the Pats their third loss of the season.
Tom Brady had his right arm heavily wrapped after the Week 14 loss to the Chiefs. During the post-game press conference, the Pats’ QB had an ice wrap on his right elbow.

Brady said the minor injury was from a hit he took in Sunday’s loss.

Patriots can breathe a slight sigh of relief because Brady said he’ll “be out there Sunday” for New England’s Week 15 game against the lowly Cincinnati Bengals, not that they really would need him for the “W.”

Brady said he’ll probably be on the Week 15 injury report, but able to play.

This shouldn’t surprise Patriots fans since Brady has had lingering elbow issues, and was on Week 14’s injury report for the same elbow, plus a toe ailment.

But it is something to watch as the NFL playoffs approach, especially since teams will likely target Brady’s elbow to take down the Patriots. Also for fantasy owners, Brady’s playing time could be limited against the 1-12 Bengals as a precaution heading into the postseason.
