It has almost been a full month since Tom Brady retired from the NFL and he’s still the most in-demand person in the league. The San Francisco 49ers would quite possibly rename their stadium after him tomorrow if it meant the GOAT would return and go play there.
I find it interesting that everyone. in the NFL world has to ask ‘what is next for Tom Brady?’ when he’s invested in countless businesses. Tom is also pursuing an acting career in a big screen road trip comedy.
Where Do The Bucs Stand On A Possible Tom Brady Return?
The chances that Brady returns to the NFL are EXTREMELY slim and more of the NFL world will accept this fact with every passing day. But as things stand, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still having to clarify their position on a potential Brady return. Tampa Bay Times Bucs insider Rick Stroud went on the Rich Eisen Show and shared the Bucs’ stance: “If he wants to play, they believe he would play here because at 45, does he really want to go to another team, learn a new offense, new players, all of that?”

Is Brady Headed To The Booth?
Those comments came amid a new report from Andrew Marchand of the New York Post that Fox and Amazon Prime are going to aggressively pursue Tom as an NFL analyst. And not just Tom, those two networks are going to go after all of the NFL’s top talent:
Fox will investigate McVay and surely can’t be ruled out there. It has already talked to Sean Payton about a studio job, according to sources. Both Fox and Amazon still like the potential of NBC’s Drew Brees, despite his poor playoff game. And Tom Brady will receive calls from Amazon and Fox.
As I’m sure you read here on BroBible, Troy Aikman is heading to ESPN and the network is also expected to try and pry Joe Buck away from Fox. This leaves Fox in dire need of a new lead analyst and Tom Brady would be the golden goose.
Troy Aikman is reportedly set to get paid $17.5 million per year by ESPN after leaving Fox, according to various reports.
It is hard to imagine how much Fox would have to pay Tom Brady to get in the booth just months after retiring from the NFL, and days after Tom’s wife Gisele uploaded a video of her Jiu-Jitsu skills. There’s no way Tom is coming out of retirement after seeing Gisele’s martial arts skills, right???
Other than ‘The Match‘, I can’t really recall a time when we got to see Tom Brady speaking in front of the camera for an extended period of time during live-action sports. So it would be interesting to see if he’s even up to the task of being analyst or if he’s happy just being absurdly wealthy with his supermodel wife in Miami.
