It’s no secret that Tom Brady must have some input in his team’s offensive game plans.
He’s earned it over the course of a career that has seen him shatter NFL records and rack up more rings than anybody else in NFL history.
However, a recent article painted his influence on the game plan for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as more than just him having some input. Instead, the article from the San Francisco Chronicle reported that Brady has his own meetings with the offense that don’t include the coaching staff and makes changes to the game plan without the coaches knowing about it.
COLUMN: All-time great Tom Brady did not have his finest game playing against the San Francisco 49ers for the Buccaneers, writes Chronicle sports columnist Michael Silver. But that doesn’t mean the ageless QB couldn’t come play in his hometown next season.https://t.co/5u5156b5WH

Today, Brady was asked about that report. Brady was clearly not happy about the question.
No. I have no idea. I mean, anybody can write anything, and say whatever they want. So, no. … I’m not gonna respond to every — next question.
With how disappointing the Buccaneers offense has been this season, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if Brady had changes he wants to make. However, it would be surprising for him to actually be going rogue and making changes to the game plan and just letting the coaching staff find out as it happens on game day.
That kind of complete lack of communication would definitely not be the way to fix an offense that has scored 41 points in the last 3 weeks and was absolutely dominated by the San Francisco 49ers’ defense last weekend.
Whatever it is that’s actually going on in Tampa Bay, they’re running out of time to fix it before the playoffs start.
